"Please Help, God Bless"


Unfortunately, this is a very common view in the United States. I should say, in all over the word...

Without discussing the social problem of the homeless people, I would like to point exclusively the difference between the homeless people of the United States and the people that ask for money in Brazil. 

While in here the usual behavior of these people is to stand still beside the traffic lights, with only a sign asking for help, in Brazil the people come to your car (almost enter in your car) and ask for money in a really intimidating way. You acttually feel obliged to give them money, while in here you give (or not) for your own reasons, without being compelled to do so. That is one of the reason why in Brazil we close our windows when we stop in a red light.
